 VICENZAORO Dubai: A Super Show kicks offA glittering gold and jewellery backdrop opened the first edition of VICENZAORO Dubai at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) today. The event opened with an array of leading global gold and jewellery companies. Over 500 brands from 20 countries are exhibiting the very latest in high range jewellery over four days of the event slated from April 23 – 26. Seminars, business meetings and exclusive social events are also going to be part of this event.

The event further consolidates Dubai’s standing as of one of the world’s leading luxury destinations and the undisputed jewellery capital of the Middle East and wider region. A joint venture between Fiera di Vicenza (FdV) and DWTC which also created the Dubai-based consortium, DV Global Link, VICENZAORO Dubai will open as the leading B2B jewellery platform for the Middle East, Africa, Central and South-east Asia, and Russia.

Termed as the new ‘Super Show’ it has attracted support from high-level partners including Dubai Multi Commodity Centre (DMCC), Dubai Gold Jewellery Group (DGJG), and L’Azurde. It is a collaboration between two of the world’s leading trade event organisers and managers in DWTC and Fiera di Vicenza.

He further added that the show with its innovative format, will host a number of important companies and brands’ Also, he noted that the show has garnered extremely strong interest, with high-profile buyers from more than 75 countries at the event. Speaking on the promotion of the show he stated that, “Crucially, we have leveraged targeted promotional activities in key markets including Saudi Arabia, India, Pakistan, Bangkok and Hong Kong to gain the support of leading authorities in the sector. Thanks to the institutional and commercial network created by DV Global Link, the leading expertise of Fiera di Vicenza and Dubai World Trade Centre, as well as the partnerships with the Dubai Multi Commodity Centre and the Dubai Gold Jewellery Group, our ambition is to establish VICENZAORO Dubai one of the world’s top three jewellery shows.”

A unique segmented exhibition set-up to match the market positioning and product range requirements of specific buyers from more than 75 countries will be part of the show including –

– Global Brands About J: where leading innovators of the gold and jewellery industry will come together for timeless collections created using refined precious metals and stones. A special zone will be dedicated to About J – an exclusive and by invitation-only event gathering the jewellery sector’s key players.

– Fine Jewellery National Pavilions will feature unique, custom creations by artisans and independent companies in the world’s premier boutique jewellery districts. It will feature a mix of gold, silver, gems and a wide range of innovative materials.

Gemstones and Diamonds will bring together the most prestigious companies and distributors in the production of skilfully processed and trade-certified stones. Both precious and semi-precious gemstones will be exhibited.

Packing and Supply will bring together companies, studios and experts from two different branches of the jewellery industry: packaging and visual merchandising, and specialists in machinery, technology and the development of new solutions in jewellery production.
