3rd Indo-US Jewellery Business Development Conference unfolded
The third edition of the Indo-US Jewellery Business Development Conference (BDC) unfolded for the very first time in the US, after its previous two editions taking place in India.
The platform aims to support business growth between the said two leading supply chain partners (India US). There is a keen focus on new customer acquisition from retail segments where Indian manufacturers have had limited interaction with such as mid-sized national and regional retail chains and the larger jewellery-buying organizations representing groups of key independent retailers, reports say.
This year, 15 top jewellery manufacturer-exporters from India are participating at the event being held at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Chicago until May 3.
The event is orgainsed with sessions in which the discussion centers around how to emerge with more ways to work together in every area including manufacturing, design, production, material acquisition and retail marketing, thus taking the discussions beyond competitive pricing. One-to-one meetings are also planned with each representative of a participating retailer.
