The AnchorCert Gem Lab at Assay Office Birmingham has partnered with the London Diamond Bourse to provide LDB members with easy access to gemstone testing and reports.

Through the deal, AnchorCert Gem Lab will provide secure pickup and transport of diamonds and gemstones between the Hatton Garden Bourse and AOB’s Birmingham facility.

“This new partnership is a natural marriage as far as the LDB Board was concerned,” said LDB chief operating officer Victoria McKay in a statement. “The added value for our members is the fact that AnchorCert Gem Lab is in the U.K., rapidly reducing lead times for gemstone analysis and grading.” 

AOB master and CEO Stella Layton concurred: “It’s great to be working so closely with the London Diamond Bourse, an institution that we have the utmost respect for.… These types of partnerships are vital for the protection of the U.K. trade.”
