Having served as the President of the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) since the last two years and three consecutive terms between 1998 to 2005, Shumel Schnitzer is now not intending to run for the IDE elections due on December 16th, reports say. He has expressed his appreciation in having served the industry and its growth in bringing Israel to the position of a leading global diamond center, as per reports.
