Rockwell Diamonds Inc. announced appointing Patrick Cooke CA(SA) as Chief Financial Officer with effect on November 7, 2016.

‘’I am very pleased that Patrick has agreed to join us and lend his experience to the ongoing strategic review and related business restructuring going forward’’ said Tjaart Willemse, Rockwell’s Executive Officer. ‘’His financial and structuring skills, as well as significant public company experience will stand us in very good stead as we complete this phase, deal with some historical legacy issues, start up Wouterspan, and complete the sale of certain non-core assets’’.

Patrick is a senior financial executive, having earned his CA designation in South Africa articling with Deloitte. He has several years of senior experience in the mining industry – working as CFO of Pangea Diamonds and as CFO with three other entities. He has also worked as a banker with Barclays and taken the role of a non-executive director of several companies including two listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
